Schneider Tanaka Radovich Andrew & Tanaka, LLLC (“STRAT“) is a law firm that practices primarily in the areas of real estate, business, and public utility law. STRAT is considering individuals for a full time paralegal/legal secretary position.


In general, the duties of the paralegal/legal secretary would involve assisting STRAT attorneys and staff members with legal matters for clients as well as administrative and clerical tasks.

Specifically, the duties would include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Assisting with preparation of correspondence and legal documentation for assigned attorneys.
  2. Assisting with inputting time entries for assigned attorneys.
  3. Managing schedules of assigned attorneys, including scheduling client meetings and conference calls
  4. Handling of certain client and vendor communications and orders.
  5. Preparing client invoices and correspondence relating to the invoices.
  6. Assisting with real estate title work, conveyancing, and other real estate transaction matters.
  7. Assisting with business transaction matters.
  8. Assisting with condominium registrations.
  9. Assisting with subdivision registrations.
  10. Assisting with preparing and organizing legal documentation for transaction closings.
  11. Preparing and coordinating agency filings, including Land Court petitions and DCCA filings.
  12. Recording documents at the Bureau of Conveyances.
  13. Organizing due diligence documentation.
  14. Preparing transaction closing binders.
  15. Delivering documents to other offices in downtown Honolulu.


  1. Minimum of three years of transactional real estate and/or business experience.
  2. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  4. Excellent ability to be a team player.
  5. Excellent ability to provide a high level of client service and maintain confidentiality.
  6. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
  7. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
