HPA LUNCH HOUR SEMINARS

The Hawaii Paralegal Association (HPA) offers lunch hour seminars at various locations as indicated on the HPA Calendar of Events. The seminars are free for members, with a nominal admission fee for non-members. Bring your own lunch. For more information, call Professional Development Director Debra Kobashigawa at 524-1800.

HSBA LAWYER KOKUA BROWN BAG LUNCH SEMINARS

The Hawaii State Bar Association (HSBA) Young Lawyers Division’s Lawyer Kokua Brown Bag Seminars are designed to assist attorneys with various areas of their law practice, and are free to all HSBA members and their staff. They are held on the first Thursday of the month or as otherwise noted from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., at the HSBA conference room at 1136 Union Mall, PH 1, in Honolulu. HSBA PRACTICE MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS

The Hawaii State Bar Association (HSBA) has scheduled Practice Management Workshops as listed on the HPA Calendar of Events. They will take place in the HSBA conference room at 1136 Union Mall, PH 1, in Honolulu, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. For more information, please call the HSBA office at 537-1868. HAWAII STATE JUDICIARY

The "Lunch ‘n’ Learn the Law Series," sponsored by the Hawaii State Judiciary, is a series of free information seminars about specific areas of the law and the courts. Volunteer presenters include judges, attorneys, and other experts. The "bring your own lunch" sessions are held in the Supreme Court Courtroom, 2nd Floor, 417 S. King Street.

IPE SEMINARS

The Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE) offers various seminars at various locations. The seminars have been approved for CLE credit through the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, the National Association of Legal Assistants, and the National Association of Legal Secretaries. KCC SEMINARS

The Kapiolani Community College Legal Education Department offers seminars for attorneys and legal support staff as noted on the HPA Calendar of Events. They typically cost $50 for attorneys and general attendees, $30 for HPA, HLSP, or HCRA members and law school students, and $20 for KCC Legal Education Department students. LORMAN SEMINARS

Lorman Business Center, Inc., under the auspices of Lorman Education Services, offers various special interest seminars at different locations on Oahu. Lorman is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE sponsors.
